For hostels

Every guest, every language

Hostel guests come from everywhere and move on fast. A code by the bunks opens a page in each guest’s language, problems reach reception before checkout, happy guests go on to Google, and a Things to Do page helps plan tomorrow.

Fix it before they check out

Guests check in, head out and move on. A report-a-problem code lets them flag a broken locker or a noisy room privately, and reception gets the alert while they’re still there.

  • A code for every dorm and common room, no app
  • 31 languages, picked from the guest’s phone
  • Alerts to reception on WhatsApp or email
Guest Issues

Fresh reviews from every guest

Guests who rate the stay well are sent on to Google or Tripadvisor before they leave, and new reviews reach one inbox with a reply drafted, so the next traveller sees you answer.

  • Happy guests sent straight on to Google
  • Google, Tripadvisor and Trustpilot in one inbox
  • A weekly report in each reader’s own language

Questions from hostels

Which languages does Monty ask in?

31 of them. The page follows each guest’s phone language, so you hear from travellers who don’t speak yours.

Do guests need to download anything?

No. They scan a code or tap an NFC tag and the page opens: no app, no login.

Can we offer tours and activities?

Yes. A Things to Do page lists local tours with ratings, and you see how many guests click through.

Is it allowed to ask every guest for a review?

Google’s policy and UK consumer law set the rules on how reviews are asked for. Any guest who scans can reach a public review link unless their area is internal-only. Below your threshold, a private feedback form comes first and the link stays.

Who hears about a problem at night?

Whoever your routing rules name for issue reports or low ratings gets it on WhatsApp at any hour, and the team gets email, Telegram and in-app alerts. Unacknowledged after two hours, it’s escalated.

Can we try it first?
